So here’s a follow-up game for my post on Masiakasaurus knopfleri, which I produced a pair of illustrations: One showcased the obvious identity of the animal, the other obscured it. I used the petty trick of trying to flesh out the animal as it might have appeared in life, to depart from the typical method for reconstruction. This one is no different. See if you can guess this right. No clues, no right answers acknowledged until the full post goes up. (Sadly, no prize given to first correct right answer, although I can provide a full-size version of the full illustration of the “correct” image when it is done.)
